recently had the pleasure of dining at Madre Mía Fish, a seafood kiosk located inside the Mercado de África in Tenerife. It’s tucked downstairs near the fish market, right on the corner—and honestly, the photos already do it justice. This place is truly incredible. While I’m sure the other kiosks in the market are also great, what sets Madre Mía Fish apart is the overall experience. You handpick your seafood, find a spot to sit wherever there’s space, sip on a glass of wine, and just enjoy the moment. It’s casual, vibrant, and full of flavor. The atmosphere is unbeatable, and the staff? Absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and full of good vibes. If you find yourself in Tenerife, make sure to visit Madre Mía Fish. It’s more than just a meal—it’s a memory.

Madre Mía Fish is a must-visit spot in the market — an unforgettable experience where the fish goes straight from the grill to your plate, fresh and full of flavor. Eating in the lively atmosphere of the market makes it even more special, as you get to share space, stories, and laughter with others around the stools. The highlight for me was the fish skewers: perfectly grilled, juicy, and simply delicious. Paired with an excellent glass of white wine, it made for a meal that was both simple and extraordinary at the same time. this is a great place, incredibly delicious seafood, the friendliest waiter in the whole city Jose will give you a great mood. All seafood is fresh, cooked quickly and efficiently. The price was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend it, this is the place you want to come back to again and again
